Privacy and data protection
How Voices4AI handles personal data, including voice recordings. Plain version first, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.
The short version
If you apply as talent, we keep the details you send so we can contact you about voice projects. We do not sell them, we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for, and you can ask us to delete them at any time by emailing hello@voices4ai.com. If you brief a project, we keep your enquiry so we can respond to it and manage the work. Voice recordings are only ever made under a separate written agreement that names the client, the purpose and the licence term.
Who we are
Voices4AI is operated by 11C Media Ltd, United Kingdom, which is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: hello@voices4ai.com.
What we collect
- Talent applications: name, email, location, languages and accents, experience level, recording setup, any demo link you provide, and anything you write in the notes field.
- Client enquiries: name, company, work email, role, project type and the brief you send us.
- Voice recordings: only where you have entered a separate written agreement for a specific project. Nothing is recorded from this website.
- Technical data: standard server logs, and search performance data via Google Search Console. This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
- Talent applications: on your consent, given when you tick the consent box on the application form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Client enquiries: on legitimate interests and, where a project proceeds, performance of a contract.
- Voice recordings: on the explicit written consent given in the project agreement, which names the client, the purpose, the territory and the licence term.
Voice recordings are personal data. Where a voice is processed specifically to identify an individual, that is biometric data and is treated as a special category requiring explicit consent. We do not process voice data for identification purposes without that consent.
How long we keep it
Talent applications are held while you remain on the roster, and removed on request or where a roster entry has gone unused and unresponsive for an extended period. Client enquiries are held for the life of the enquiry and any resulting project, plus the period required for business records. Project recordings are held for the licence term agreed in the project contract, with deletion routes documented in that contract.
Who we share it with
Personal data is shared only with the service providers needed to run this operation - form processing, email, cloud storage and our own group companies (11C Media, Flaunt Audio) where they deliver the production. Recordings are shared with the named client of a project under that project’s licence. We do not sell personal data, and recordings are never repackaged into other datasets or passed to third parties not named in your agreement.
International transfers
We recruit worldwide, so data may be transferred outside the UK and EEA. Where it is, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards such as UK and EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@voices4ai.com and we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
One honest limitation: audio that has already been absorbed into a trained AI model cannot be surgically removed from that model. This is why our protections are contractual and agreed before recording - defined licence terms, bounded sublicensing and documented deletion routes - rather than promises made afterwards. See ethics and consent.
