Male Voice Talent - Native Canadian French (Conversational AI)

We’re casting a native French Canadian male voice for a US technology company building conversational AI. We’re looking for the way people really speak: relaxed, unhurried and warm, like talking to a friend over coffee. The recording is in Canadian French and English.

• Native Canadian French speaker, in your own natural accent. No learned or approximated accents
• You can be based anywhere, as long as Canadian French is your native language
• 100% remote: one 2-hour recording session with a producer on a call
• Your own equipment: a basic USB mic is fine. If you’re selected, we can send you recording kit
• No professional experience needed
• Male voice, any adult age (18+)
• Recurring annual licence, non-exclusive and agreed in writing. You keep ownership of your voice
• Used only for phone and voice agents and a text-to-speech product inside one company’s platform. No advertising, broadcast or entertainment use
• All applicants will be asked to sign an NDA before project details are shared
• Rate and full project scope: shared once you have signed the NDA

The sound we’re after

Yes to: mid-range for a male voice, not deep and booming or bright and salesy. Unhurried, soft, clear and warm. Breaths, small hesitations and a bit of creak are fine, so please leave them in.

No to: a commercial read, announcer energy, smile-in-the-voice, lifting at the end of sentences, or anything that sounds directed or performed.

What to send

Upload about 30 seconds of you simply talking naturally in Canadian French, using the voice clip upload in the form below. Talk about anything: your morning, the weather, what you had for breakfast. A phone voice note is completely fine. Please don’t say your name in the recording, because identities stay confidential on this project.
